Desktop

Fishy pointed out on her blog that her desktop was an "organised" mess, and almost full. So I decided I would show mine off, just because.

Isn't it glorious? Her desktop is probably much fuller than mine though. I have quite a large screen..

I got 97 out of 100 for my German speaking exam. I'm quite proud of that, as I thought I'd get lower seeing as I got flustered when talking about my Fridays. Apparently she marked us based on what she sees in class though. So that's nice.

WSD is again being horrid to me. After this blog I shall continue on figuring out my code and hopefully it will agree with me and at least let me show the XML in a table. That's my aim for tonight.

Ah, so many things to do, so little time. Or, should I say, so many things to do, enough time, but bad time management on my behalf. The first sounds better.

And now, a nice clean desktop for you. There's not much difference. Ha. ..I have too many programs..

Computers.

I hate computers. I really do. Unreliable pieces of technology that control our whole lives. ..If only they knew the power that they really hold. Oh wait - they do. That's why they fail. They like seeing us scarper around like mice on caffiene worrying about how we're going to finish off our assessments, how we're going to remember that it's your Aunt Mildred's birthday and how we're going to bid on that "totally osm" pair of shoes on eBay.

Maybe we should go back to paper. Paper can't fail! But then I suppose we'd have less trees and my Uni course wouldn't even exist. Ha. I'd be doing Paper Science instead.

Procrastination

Procrastination. It's such a wonderful word - my favourite word, at the moment, in fact. However, I cannot afford to procrastinate. Not when time is running by so quickly and things have to get done. What things? Things that only I can do myself. So I can't fob them off onto somebody else.

Study. Exams. And this ongoing WSD assignment that's taking me forever to make any progress on. The XML doesn't want to go in a table. And, really, why would it want to go inside a table? I wouldn't want to be stuck in a table for any length of time. Especially not one without drawers.

German speaking exam went as well as it could have gone. 10 minutes and 4 set questions turned into 5 minutes, 2 set questions and lots of random questions being thrown by the teacher. You knit?! What are you knitting? A scarf! That's lovely! Who for? You or somebody else? Yourself! Wonderful! Do you play football? Oh! Haha, you hate sport. Finished!

I have a feeling that the online Routing test read my sarcastic comments about it in my previous blog for it gave me an error whilst I was completing it. Which then made me have to stay back after class to finish it off because the teacher was unable to reactivate it. Good on you, Routing quiz. At least you gave me a good score though. I thank you for that.

Procrastination now must end. There are two more hours until I am to be kidnapped by Noble to go and see Chicago (the play, not the city), and there are lots of things that can be done in those two hours besides writing epic blog posts.

Apologies and a Photo

I am sorry, dear Blog, for having seemed to abandon you for almost two months. And I am also sorry for this post not being scribbled on a post-it note and scanned.

But, to be quite Frank, the scanning of post-its is tedious work when the scanner you use isn't connected to your computer and the computer it is connected to just so happens to be the worlds slowest computer.

So, dear Blog, and gentle blog readers, this update is to be Scribbleless.

There has been Uni work a-plenty for happy little me. With me scurrying to Uni on my days off and staying back after class and what-not. I actually spent my Tuesday off at home this week, which seemed to be getting rarer and rarer for me this past month. I couldn't remember the last Tuesday I spent at home. But there you go. I spent this Tuesday doing Uni work at home. Instead of at Uni. Hurrah for me!

Green Day album is quite awesome. I'm particularly fond of Little Girl, Peacemaker and 21 Guns. I have a feeling 21 Guns is going to be the next single. And right it should be. It's a very nice song.

German is going grandly. I've been doing quite well and had a practice speaking test today with my parter and that went all dandy and nice and we actually kept the conversation flowing. Thumbs up to us! Now we just have to keep that up for the actual test on Friday..

Routing and Internetworks exam tomorrow. Well, actually, make that exams. Written exam and an online exam. Oh how I look forward to seeing my old friend the online exam. I've missed him and his pointless hour long questioning for a mere 1% weighting. He's lucky this week he's giving me a 10% weighting, otherwise I might have yelled at him.

TARDIS, because I said I would post it.
